Ten Woodcuts by Zarina: Based on Urdu Proverbs grew from a collaboration between Zarina and her sister Rani, who gathered the sayings they most loved and remembered from childhood and youth. Zarina’s spare images let familiar speech move between voice, script, and carved form.
